1 - How to change search area in Localo?


The search area defines the location for which Localo analyzes your business visibility in Google Maps.

1.1 Add or find your business profile

First, add your business profile to Localo. You can do this by connecting your Google Business Profile or by adding it manually:

Then select the profile for which you want to set the search area:

1.2 Choose the search area

If your business does not have a physical address and operates as a service-area business, Localo will automatically set the initial search area based on the service area configured in Google.

Then choose the appropriate search area and confirm your settings:

💡 A properly configured search area helps provide more accurate position tracking results.


2 - How to update the business address on the map?


If you changed your business address in Google, you can also update the location in Localo. If the update option is not available, contact our support team.

2.1 Update the location settings

After entering the Business Profile settings, you will see the option to change the business location.

Complete the following two steps:

  1. Adjust the new location

  2. Confirm the settings

2.2 What happens after the update?

After saving the changes, the next keyword refresh will be performed for the new area and the new business location.

💡 Changing the location may affect your business rankings, because visibility depends on the area and local competition.
