Managing multiple GBPs is simple and efficient in Localo - whether you're a small business owner just getting started, an SEO professional handling multiple clients, or an agency managing several profiles for clients. This guide will walk you through how to add new profiles and deactivate those you no longer need, all within a few clicks.
1 - Adding a business profile in Localo
Adding a business profile to your Localo account is quick and intuitive. You can import your Google-managed business or add one manually.
1 .1 Import from Google
Go to your Localo dashboard and click "+ Business Profile".
Choose from the list your Google Accounts.
Click on ''Gather profiles''.
Once youâve imported all the GBPs linked to a given Google account, you can activate the ones you want to keep optimizing from the ''Inactive'' section.
This method is perfect if you're managing several locations - it saves time by letting you import multiple profiles in one go.
1.2 Add it manually by entering the business name
If your business isnât listed under your Google account or you prefer to type it in:
Click "+ Business Profile".
Begin typing your business name. Suggestions will appear based on Google Maps data.

Add part of your address (like the city or street) to refine the search.
2 - Deactivating a business profile
Need to clean up your profile list or pause tracking for a location you no longer manage?
Navigate to the "All Profiles" section.
Click on three dots and thenâDeactivateâ next to the profile you want to stop managing.
Localo will confirm the change and notify you when itâs processed.

Once a location is removed, its slot will not be available for a new location or optimization until your next billing cycle begins.
đ What happens after deactivation?
The profile is moved to the "Inactive" section.
You wonât receive further insights, tasks, or data for that profile.
You can reactivate it later at any time if needed.
