After reading this article, you will find out:

  • What is a HAR file and why is it necessary?

  • How do I download it?

1 - What is a HAR file and why is it necessary? 🤔

A HAR (HTTP Archive) file makes it possible to detect various problems related to the browser and web page rendering. It contains detailed information about web requests and responses such as chronometers, status codes and other important information.

As with any application, unwanted errors sometimes occur. When that happens, we want to fix them as soon as possible. Therefore, having access to the code would be a great help, especially for the developers. The HAR file provides a complete overview and allows us to solve the problem more quickly.

2 - How do I download it? 🔎

The file can be downloaded easily and quickly. It is just a few clicks and the assistance will be invaluable. See how this can be done step-by-step:👇

  1. Open your Chrome browser and log in to your Localo account. Then click on the right-hand ''Explore'' button.

2. Later click on ''Network'' and the ''Fetch/XHR'' button.

3. Now all you have to do is download the file and you're done!

Send us the file and we will try to check and fix the bug as soon as possible. We hope this will save you a considerable amount of time!
