The bottom line is to consider how your customers are searching for the service or goods that you are offering.

To archive, the best results, follow those few simple rules:

2.1 Don't use your business name or brand.

It is not what you are aiming for - to be visible and generate traffic for your brand (business name). If someone knows your brand and has already searched for your company using your business name, you are already the winner - because that will take them directly to your Bussines Profile.

2.2 Use your city or region name instead of "near me".

When you are creating the search in Google maps - on 9/10 occasions will know your location - if the location is unknown Google will search the piece of map that is displayed. It is much more efficient and useful instead if "near me" to use the city name, district, or any other description of the area.
