Keeping track of your business's visibility in Google search results can be overwhelming - especially when competitors are constantly making moves to outrank you. Localo’s Monitoring feature simplifies this process, giving you automatic updates on your Google search positions and competitor activities. No stress, no manual tracking - just clear, actionable insights.

1 - Why Monitoring Matters for Your Business

Google search results are dynamic. Competitors update their profiles, get new reviews, and tweak their strategies daily. Without continuous monitoring, these changes can silently affect your business visibility, leading to fewer customer visits and lower search rankings.

Monitoring in Localo helps you:

  • Detect changes in your Google Business Profile rankings before they impact your traffic.

  • Understand how your competitors’ actions affect your visibility.

  • Save time by automating repetitive checks on your search positions.

In short, monitoring ensures you stay informed and proactive, not reactive.

2 - How Localo’s Monitoring Works

Localo automates the entire process of tracking your position in Google search results. Here’s how it works:

  • Automated Keyword Tracking
Once you set up keywords relevant to your business, Localo continuously checks where your Google Business Profile ranks for those terms.

  • Competitor Tracking
Localo doesn't just track your position - it keeps an eye on your competitors too. This allows you to see who’s moving up (or down) and why it matters for your strategy.

  • Regular Updates
Monitoring is performed automatically every 7 days. Once a day you can refresh your keywords manually. You’ll get fresh data without lifting a finger, helping you spot trends and adjust quickly.

  • Visual Position Maps
Results are presented in easy-to-understand visual dashboards, so you always know where you stand.

3 - How to Start Using Monitoring in Localo

Getting started with monitoring is simple and takes only a few steps:

  1. Log in to Localo and navigate to the Monitoring section.

  2. Choose up to 10 keywords you want to track. These should be phrases your customers would use to find your business.

  3. Localo will automatically check your Google search rankings for these keywords every 7 days - but you can refresh them manually once a day.

  4. View your Position Map to see your standing against competitors.
