1. Connect your Google Business Profile to Localo

To start optimizing, connect your Google Business Profile to Localo.
This allows the platform to collect data, analyze it, and suggest specific actions.

Why is this important?
Your Google Business Profile is a key element of your visibility in Google Maps and local search results. Localo analyzes its condition and shows what can be improved.

You will gain:

  • Quick profile analysis

  • Suggestions for missing information (e.g. categories, photos, opening hours)

  • Clear steps to improve visibility

💡 After setup, define your keywords and go to the Audit section to optimize your business name, description, and categories.

2. Complete your personalized setup plan

After connecting your profile, go to the main dashboard.
You will find your Setup Plan, which is a list of tasks tailored to your business.

Each task is a simple step, for example:

  • Add key services to your profile

  • Add 3 high-quality business photos

  • Complete your opening hours

You don’t have to wonder what to do — Localo shows your priorities.

3. Use Smart Tasks

Smart Tasks are AI-generated actions that keep your profile fresh and competitive. They might recommend:

  • Publishing a new Google Post

  • Asking a happy customer for a review

  • Updating outdated information

Complete at least one Smart Task a week to boost activity and relevance on your profile—two things Google loves.

Step 4: Monitor Your Position and Competitors

Go to the Position Map section to check your business visibility on Google Maps.

You will see:

  • Which keywords your business appears for

  • How your visibility looks across the map

  • Which competitors rank higher and why

This helps you plan your SEO activities more effectively.

5. Collect and manage customer reviews

Reviews have a strong impact on both visibility and customer trust.

In Localo, you can send review requests, reply to reviews, and monitor new feedback in one place.

You can:

  • Use the Reviews Manager to send requests and reply directly

  • Share a QR code poster in your location or via email

  • Monitor and respond to reviews from one place

💡 Regularly collecting reviews and responding quickly increases your business credibility.
