Keywords are at the heart of your Local SEO strategy. In Localo, you can easily manage which keywords to track for each of your business profiles. Whether you're just getting started or refining your strategy, here’s how to add or remove keywords using the latest dashboard version.
1 - How to add keywords in the new dashboard?
To start tracking new keywords for a specific location, follow these simple steps:
Navigate to the location:
From the “All Profiles” view in your Localo dashboard, choose the business location you want to work on.Go to keyword management:
On the profile dashboard, click “Manage” to open extended tools and select the Keywords section.Add your keywords:
Use the input field to type in keywords you want to track.
Tip: Focus on what your customers might type when searching locally.
4. Finalize your list:
Confirm your selection to begin tracking. The keywords will appear in your position monitoring overview.
Note! You can track up to 10 keywords per business profile at a time.
2 - How to delete keywords?
Cleaning up your list? You can remove irrelevant or underperforming keywords just as easily:
Go to the same Keywords section of your chosen location.
Locate the keyword you want to remove.
Click the “X” icon next to that keyword.
That’s it - your keyword list is instantly updated.

Try to avoid changing your keywords too frequently - every time you do, Localo has to restart the optimization process from the beginning, which can delay your results.
